Al Pacino & Wells Fargo

By Darius Miranda

Do you think Al Pacino ever checks his own bank account balances? Sometimes he has to—like the time he wanted to buy an astronaut bed, but he didn’t have enough money in his checking account to cover the purchase.  Pacino calls Wells Fargo to ask WTF? This SNL skit aired a couple weeks ago. Bill Hader does a good Pacino, and Kristen Wiig is a believable Wells Fargo customer service rep on the other end of the line. This video is hilarious!

Does anyone else think this was a paid advertisement for Wells Fargo?

It’s interesting that a TV show filmed in NY with a skit about a famous actor that lives in NY would have Pacino banking with a company that (for the most part) doesn’t really exist on the east coast. Wells Fargo’s biggest presence is primarily Minnesota and California.

You wanna know what I found out recently?… 1 out of every 11 homes in the United States is financed through Wells Fargo. I’m assuming WF Home Mortgage. 1 out of 11… That’s huge.

Does anyone else think the comment I previously posted was a paid advertisement for Wells Fargo? Kinda does…
