I was fortunate to hear Stephen Hawking give a lecture when I was a Sophomore or Junior at UCLA. I’m so thankful for that experience.
Now 64-years old, Stephen Hawking and his wife Elaine are divorcing after nine years of marriage. They were married in 1995. She had been a nurse hired by his former wife, Jane, to help him deal with his crippling motor neuron disease.
How many times has Hawking been married? I wonder why he and current wife Elaine are getting divorced. British tabloids claim he was having an affair. Is he a Player? Other sources say she was mentally and physically abusing him. Maybe Elaine’s lashing out over Fox’s less-than flattering portrayal of her on The Family Guy. They put her in a wheelchair, gave her an electronic voice, made her super-confrontational, and objectified her sexually. To top it off, they got her name wrong. Check out the video below. I think everyone calls her Helen.

This is very wrong.
It’s not “The Family Guy”, it’s just “Family Guy”. If you’d properly watched the episode you’d know that it wasn’t Stephen Hawking who was depicted in the episode. It clearly had reference to him, as he was a physics lecturer with ALS, but the character wasn’t named as him. Similarly, his wife was shown to also have ALS for comic effect. The fact that she was called Helen was probably a coincidence.
